"I have studied BSL level 1 and am coming to the end of level 2, with Tutor, Robin Herdman and have found both courses to be very enjoyable. Learning BSL is not easy and takes a lot of commitment and effort. However, Robin teaches in such a way that the lessons are interesting and diverse. I must admit that I was a little nervous when I first realised that my teacher was profoundly deaf with no speach and I did worry how we would be able to communicate. I shouldn't have worried though as Robin is so animated, even if you don't understand the sign initially, you will have no difficulty understanding each other. I really look forward to my Wednesday afternoon lessons and learning a new language has never been so much fun!"
